David Abraham Klassen (1858-1945) and Luise Heinrich Heese (1867-1948). Married Nov. 30, 1886.

They had at least one son, David David Klassen (born 1888 in Jekaterinoslaw and died in 1966 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

David D. Kassen married Agneta Rempel in 1913 at the Marienskaya estate. One of their sons, Paul Klassen (1923-1998) wrote "From the Steppes to the prairies".
