Johan A. Klaassen

Johan A. Klaassen was born in Holland and was a Mennonite like his parents.  He married Helena Konrathen (1753-1818) and had at least one son, Abraham J. Klassen. Johan was part of the wave of Mennonites that emigrated to Southern Russia (now Ukraine). More on this in From Amsterdam to Russia..
